Bikini Radiactivo

Alright, it's done! I'm still seeing a buttload of mistakes but after all I think I created a pretty blistering sunburn, atomically radiated beach feeling and that was the goal. Below you find some pic's of the original image, click em they will grow.

Materials: pentel art brush, ecco pigment 0,1 on A 4 paper

WIP Bikini Radiactivo

A little preview of what's coming up next: Bikini Radiactivo (or maybe Harakiri Beach), I'm not sure about the title yet. The title is important in case, it decides in which direction the drawing will develop. Strange working procedure, I know, I also use to play dice when I had too many ideas at once. Making of Beasts

Ladies & Gentlemen, in additional to the Beast series, here comes the documentation! You can look at the original drawings and get an idea of the working progress. This post will grow within the upcoming beasts.

Update 24.04.2013

Well, surprise surprise, I've finally found the passion to go on with the series, hallelujah brothers & sisters! As you can see beastbear is in the making and this is what the rough sketch looks like. The paper is usually so messed up until I'm happy with the result that had to draw it again on the light-table before I start inking.

On the right is what they look like before I scan and edit them digitally.

Smutje

Quick painting (ca. 40 min). I wasn't sure if I should upload this, the cuteness almost sickens me but I like how the swan-boat turned out. Water-diluted acrylics on untreated canvas.
